Hello!
My name is Ta'sjé Carrasco, and I started off this year teaching 4th- and 5th-grade math and science at Holy Angels Catholic School in Chicago. This was my third year in the classroom, but I've also been pursuing my Master's in Elementary Education and needed more space to focus on that so I stepped into substitute teaching around Chicago (just to still teach without having to worry about deadlines on lesson plans etc).
I'm passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences- especially through hands-on science, differentiated instruction, and helping students grow into kind, mindful young people. I'm excited to connect, collaborate, and learn from fellow educators across Illinois!
