Research independent schools through the NAIS site. NAIS is a membership organization that represents more than 1,300 independent schools and associations in the United States and includes affiliates with independent schools abroad as well.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
Would you like statistics on the schools and districts that are interested in hiring you? The U.S. Department of Education’s NCES site includes Common Core of Data (CCD), a program that annually collects fiscal and non-fiscal data about all public schools, public school districts, and state education agencies in the U.S. The data describe schools and school districts, including name, address, and phone number; descriptive information about students and staff, including demographics; and fiscal data, including revenues and current expenditures.
