First and foremost, I am passionate about helping students succeed. I believe that the most important factor for that success is accessibility to high-quality education and academic support. I help my students by adapting to their current skill level and learning style through open dialogue and active listening.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Education degree in Advanced Studies. My major isCognitive Science, and my focus of study is Online Learning and Teaching. Previously, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology, and a Certificate in Spanish. In addition, I have completed seven MagicSchool AI certificates.
Altogether, I possess eight years of experience tutoring diverse populations of students, both in person and online. This includes providing instructional assistance with basic concepts, specific problems, homework, and test preparation. The subjects I am qualified to tutor include English, Spanish, and reading/writing for most middle school, high school, and college courses. I am also qualified to assist students with essay writing for both college and scholarship applications and with test preparation for the Reading and Writing section of both the PSAT and SAT.
