What’s included when you purchase a full Convocation registration?

*After October 3, 2019, you must register on-site in Norfolk.

**If your membership in KDP has lapsed, reactivating it by paying Society dues will make you eligible for the member rate.

***This pass is available to all attendees and may be used for any one day of the conference. This registration does not include a lunch or closing banquet ticket.

When you register, you may add these optional items:

Member Pricing
Applies only to active members who are current on membership dues. Members must maintain active membership through September 2019 to be eligible for the member rate.

Student/Retiree Rate
Applies only to full-time undergraduate and graduate students, and retired members.

Chapter Counselor Rate
Applies only to current chapter counselors, co-counselors, and associate counselors who are identified as such in the KDP Headquarters database.

Chapter Rebate
Available only to chapters that meet the required number of attendees per chapter, as verified in the KDP database. One-day passes will not apply to the chapter minimum. Chapters will be required to complete a refund request form to initiate the refund process. Chapter rebates must be requested by November 15, 2019. Rebate checks will be mailed to the chapter by December 31, 2019.

Rebate Amount
  • $25 discount per attendee
  • $50 discount per attendee

One-Day Pass
Available to all attendees. This pass allows admission to all events scheduled for the purchased day except meals. A Thursday lunch or banquet ticket may be purchased during registration. This one-day pass may be used by only one participant and may be picked up at registration.

Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations must be submitted to KDP in writing by October 3, 2019, to receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee. This fee applies to all registrations, regardless of registration type. Cancellation requests can be emailed to Patti Bontempo, patti@kdp.org; faxed to Patti at 317-704-2324; or mailed to Kappa Delta Pi, Attn: Patti Bontempo, 3707 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268 (must be postmarked by October 3). Refunds will not be granted for requests received by phone or after October 3.

Hotel Information
Convo registration does not include housing. You must make your hotel reservation directly with the Norfolk Waterside Marriott (conference hotel) or the Hilton Norfolk The Main. KDP has arranged a special conference rate of $149 USD per night plus tax. Please see the Hotel & Travel page for hotel and reservations information.
