Hello Folks
As an instructional coach, and previously as a department lead and teacher leader, I often suggested to the people I work with to adopt a daily reflection practice. To write down, journal, blog, or just assess the way the day or lesson went, or how they were feeling about their work. But, and here's my dirty secret, I've never done this myself. I've tried multiple times to start a daily reflection practice and all of them quickly fall to the wayside. Part of the problem is that once I get going I write too much, and suddenly the practice is taking too much time.
Does anyone else do this successfully? Do you have an open blog, or know of an open blog I might look at for inspiration? Is there a framework you use to be successful. Typing or using electronics seems to work best for me, but it still doesn't work.
I know this is an important practice, I just need help in maintaining the habit.
Thanks in advance!
