Good evening, everyone!
We had an interesting discussion tonight in class about how different educators (some in the same school) had various ways to encourage digital literacy and the use of GenAI. One of the interesting comments was how Digital Literacy now includes critically evaluating and ethically engaging with AI-generated content. I want to continue this discussion and explore your thoughts and feelings. How can we reframe our teaching of digital literacy to equip students not just to consume and create with generative AI, but also to question, vet, and responsibly manage its outputs? What specific classroom strategies have you found effective, or what new challenges are you anticipating?
