As the Director of a Child Development Center in Wisconsin and one of the newest members of her KDP community, Mrs. Lori Andrews spends her days guiding kids through their most formative years, focusing on the lasting impact a positive early start can have.

A Safe Place to Grow
Lori’s goal is to create a space where kids can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

"My faith and desire to serve others inspire me to create a loving, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and capable of success," Lori shares.

A big part of making that happen is building strong relationships with parents. For Lori, partnering with families is just as important as helping the kids hit their developmental milestones.

"I am inspired to teach because I have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day," she says. "Watching children learn new skills, gain confidence, and discover their unique strengths is incredibly rewarding."

Baking, Quilting, and Unwinding
Lori’s love for creating things doesn't stop when the school day ends. Outside the center, she stays busy with hands-on hobbies like baking cakes and cupcakes, sewing quilts, and working on puzzles. When she isn't working on a project, she loves traveling and spending downtime with her family.

Connecting with KDP
As a new KDP member, Lori is ready to dive into the community, swap insights with her community of educators, and find new ways to support her team and classroom.

"I was just recently accepted into the KDP community and look forward to seeing how this community will help me thrive in my classroom and as a Director at my Child Care Center," Lori says.
