Hello Melissa,
You made good points. AI is here to stay, and fighting it won't help students.
Teaching them to use it responsibly, think critically, and know its limits is key.
A new tool in the toolbox: well said!

In my opinion, AI is not going anywhere. Students will find a way to use it, no matter what any parent, teacher, or community member says. I believe we must teach students responsible use, how to double-check the information received, etc. We do this when we teach college and university students how to properly find and use other types of resources, so why not AI? It is just another resource for us, a new tool in our toolbox.

Quick question - and I want to hear from everyone! ๐
When it comes to students and AI:
๐ด Set clear rules about how to use it
or
๐ข Let them explore freely
Which do you believe in?
